Brainstorm defined

To brainstorm is to spark ideas off of your own imagination or the imagination of someone else.

It results in:

1. totally bright ideas

AND

2. really dull ideas.

It's a mental treasure hunt – full of glass beads and gold doubloons, dead ends and sure things.

Brainstorming is a quick – and fun – way to come up with some keywords.
