The Invisible Web
Everything is not on the Web – and even the material that IS there isn't yours-for-the-taking.
In fact, most (NOTE: most!) of the material floating around in the Web is i–n–v–i–s—i–b–l–e …
Invisible Web: Text pages and files (images, sounds, filmclips) that are on the Web but which general-purpose search engines can't find. They can't find this material because it:

- is password-protected (like bank records)
- requires a paid subscription (Member section of Choice Online at http://www.choice.com.au/ )
- has yet another search box in front of it (Elizabeth TAFE Library catalogue)
- does not have any words/text associated with it, so there's nothing you can put into Google's search box to find it (like a sound effect)
- whoever owns that material decided not to make it searchable.
What to do ...
