Logistics support
| The practicalities of budget, timelines, skills and experience enhance or temper the
achievement of educational intentions. For example, if a teacher took on multiple roles like content expert, instructional designer, graphic designer and HTML author, their experience and what they were able to achieve was likely to be different from a teacher who was part of a multidisciplinary team and whose efforts were focused primarily on the educational issues. High cognitive load - too much to learn - was consistently mentioned as a factor influencing where effort was able to be focused. At this stage of development and with the types of logistics support offered, the effort was most often on the technology rather than the underpinning educational design. |
